Roles and permissions

The four roles in a company, what only an administrator can do, and what no role can do.

Each person in your company signs in with their own account and holds one of four roles: administrator, manager, team member or accountant.

How roles are given

The person who sets up your company in OpsMax is its first administrator. Everyone else starts as a team member, and only an administrator gives anyone another role. An administrator invites each person in one of the four roles, and can change another member's role or remove them. Any member can leave. No one can change their own role, and your company always keeps at least one administrator.

Your team page lists every member with their role, and shows what each role can open.

What no role can do

No role can move money, an administrator's included. OpsMax pays no bill and starts no transfer: payments happen in your bank or card platform, made by your team.

More than one company

When your organization holds more than one company, each person sees only the companies an administrator gives them.
